Happy 1000th Birthday Hanoi!

Celebrations for Hanoi’s 1000th birthday are already well underway. For almost a week now, the city has been buzzing with many family friendly events such as concerts, street decorations and light shows. Proud Vietnamese and tourists alike have taken advantage of the extensive celebratory schedule and Hanoi is certainly much busier these days.  However, the “big day” of October 10th is still a few days away and is certain to be a spectacular celebration.  Despite the tragic fireworks accident that occurred recently, the scheduled fireworks displays around Hanoi are not to be missed.  For those of you in town, Le PUB Hang Be is the perfect spot to watch the celebratory chaos and ring in Hanoi’s 1000th year. If you’re in Tay Ho and looking for optimal views without the traffic headaches, Le PUB Xuan Dieu offers spectacular views of Westlake. Regardless of where you choose to celebrate Hanoi’s 1000th birthday, the staff and management of Le PUB wish you a safe and entertaining 10.10.10! Updates about Hanoi’s 1000th celebrations can be found at  #hanoi1000 on twitter.
